This is a three-day review course for those preparing for the Safety Fundamental Examination, leading to the designation of Associate Safety Professional (ASP). This course is an excellent review for those desiring to:

| PM | Business Principles, Practices, and Metrics in Safety, Health and Environmental Practice |
Classes will be conducted from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day at the Berkley Mid-Atlantic Group Building, Innsbrook Office Park, Tyler Conference Room, 2nd Floor, 4820 Lake Brook Drive, Glen Allen, VA.
Registration is limited to the first 35 participants for the Workshop. There are only 5 seats reserved for the Student Rate. The Workshop will be cancelled if there are less than 15 participants. Early Registration ends on February 15, 2012. A TI-30XIIS scientific calculator is included in the cost of the course.
Passing Rate for Students Attending this Workshop = 80%
About the Instructors
C. David Langlois is President of Langlois, Weigand & Associates, Inc. Prior to entering the consulting field full-time, Mr. Langlois served as an Instructor at Louisiana State University from 1981 to 1990. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from LSU and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. Mr. Langlois has taught college courses in Occupational Safety, Safety Supervision, Training, and Maintenance Management. He has over 20 years experience in the safety and training field and is a Certified Safety Professional. He has taught professional development course in safety inspections, accident investigations, industrial hygiene, safety audits, hazard recognition, substance abuse awareness and safety management.
Michael A. Weigand is Vice President of Langlois, Weigand & Associates, Inc. Before entering the consulting field, full time, he served as an Instructor at Louisiana State University from 1980 to 1989. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans, LA and a Masters Degree in Safety Management from the University of Arizona and a Doctor of Education in Safety Education from Texas A&M University. He has 24 years experience in the safety and health career field and has been a Certified Safety Professional since 1979. Mr. Weigand has taught courses in occupational safety, safety management, industrial hygiene, fire science and safety law at LSU.
